Ruth Proctor (b. UK) lives and works in Uk and Morocco

Ruth Proctor’s multidisciplinary practice, which comprises sculpture, photography and performance, explores ephemerality, place, time and artifice. Proctor’s performances have been presented internationally, at institutions such as the Whitechapel Gallery, London (2017); Museo Nacional de Arte MUNAL, Mexico City (2017); Nida Art Colony, Lithuania (2017) and at Camden Art Centre, London (2013) and Somerset House, London 2018.

Her work is included in international public collections such as Frac Franche Comte, Besançon, France; The Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea (CGAC) Santiago de Compostela, Spain; and Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GAM), Turin.
